Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Munyala Eliud, trading as MEA Tech, Nairobi, Kenya. By using Octavo Cloud you agree to them.
The plugin
The Octavo plugin is provided free of charge, as is, without warranty. You are responsible for backing up your vault.
Octavo Cloud
Octavo Cloud is a subscription service (monthly or yearly) or a one-time Founder lifetime plan. Plans include fair-use limits shown on the pricing page (storage, OCR pages, read-aloud minutes and, on Cloud + AI, AI requests). “Lifetime” means for the life of the Octavo Cloud service; if we ever shut the service down we will give at least 90 days' notice and a way to download your files.
Billing
Card and PayPal orders are processed by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, which is the Merchant of Record and handles taxes. M-Pesa payments in Kenya are processed by Paystack. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
Your content
You keep all rights to files you upload. You confirm you have the right to store them. We store them only to provide the service to you; we do not share or publish them.
Acceptable use
Do not use Octavo Cloud to distribute content you don't have rights to, to attack or overload the service, or to resell access.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will notify subscribers of material changes by email. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before a claim.
